 Est. 2019

Praise Day Nursery was established in 2019 by our Owner and Active Director, Sonia Carrington, following more than 20 years of delivering exceptional childcare through her OFSTED “Outstanding” rated Praise Childminding Services.

What began as a small, home-based provision grew into a trusted and respected service within the community. As demand increased, Sonia expanded her vision to create a larger setting that would retain the warmth, consistency, and personal approach families had come to value so highly.Praise Day Nursery was created to preserve that foundation while offering children a thoughtfully designed environment where they can flourish.

The strength of our nursery lies in experience and continuity. Over the years, Sonia has carefully built and developed a high-performing team of dedicated childcare professionals. Many of our staff have worked together for several years, creating stability and strong working relationships that directly benefit the children in our care.
We understand that children thrive when surrounded by familiar, trusted adults. That consistency allows us to truly know each child, recognise their individuality, and support their development with intention and care.

Our aim is to create a warm, friendly, loving, and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, explore, learn and be confident. We endeavour to seamlessly continue the care given by parents at home in our settings.

“We love Praise Nursery! Both our children attended the nursery, from infancy to toddler age and then in the after school program. From the moment I visited the (original) setting and met Sonia, I felt the warmth and love she and all the staff have for children. Over the years, they became an extension of our family.
They truly care about the well being of every child and nothing is spared when it comes to their commitment to care. They were fantastic with my son who started at 5 months old, its never easy to leave such a little baby but I knew he was in safe and caring hands.
